Welcome to Mendhame!
This film is my Final Major Project, and I worked on it with the help of my teammates Elora Coutellier and Léa Acquisto.
Mendhame is about a fairy that meets a neglected and abused little girl.
After becoming her friend, she is willing to risk her life to save her from her dangerous household.

After I designed the characters, we each coloured a version of how we personally envisioned their colour schemes. Our head teacher then picked the ones she believed best fit the final product.

Concept art
I designed all the backgrounds & characters for the film, and these are my pen concepts. I prefer to work traditionally when doing concepts but can work digitally just as well!
It took almost 50 designs before settling on our fairy!
Deleted Scene
Originally there was going to be a scene where Claire (the fairy) would be brought to an infirmary after she faints before entering the portal.
It was scrapped in favour of the new version.
I had almost finished the roughs, so I decided to share them here.
